Hello Puddin'!
So I am REAAALLY excited for "Injustice: Gods Among Us" to come out in April, and I have always liked Harley but haven't been in love with her classic costume. So when I saw the concept art for Injustice I fell in love.
I made this for Amazing Arizona Comic Con, and I'll be wearing it several more times this year.
All I had to go on was the few minutes of Harley gameplay, and some box art teasers that have been released. I wanted it to be as accurate as possible, but I have a few things I want to fix up/add. For example, I forgot my scrap of green fabric around my leg holster, and I need to take the whole thing in a little bit. But it was rushed and there wasn't time before I had to catch my flight. Overall I'm very proud of it.
I had to customize the wig, because no one had one with the colors on the right sides, or they all had bangs >.< I had to move a lot of wefts around, and dip dyed the red so it wasn't quite so bright cherry. Also custom colored the green wefts and stitched them in. Hand made my mask, sculpted and casted the belt buckles, made the boots, necklaces, etc. The tights, with hand appliqued diamonds that had been dyed slightly darker, It was all handmade, even the box pleat trim around the top and the triangle fringe on the shoulders. My wonderful guy was a huge help in helping put my bomb ball prop together while I was in a hurry.

I was really pleased to win 1st place in the Expert division at the costume contest at AACC.

Gorgeous! The mutlicoloured bits on the blue side of your hair really makes it pop! Definitely the best version of this Harley I've seen :D
